ACT Question Types.
This page will be updated throughout the day as I complete each tutorial.*
PLEASE have a copy of the 2012 - 2013 Free ACT booklet (pages 31 - 41) on hand so you can mark up the text.
REMEMBER, on the day of the ACT, our strategy is to
- READ 3 passages and
- use the letter of the day on the 4th passage.
We will spend approximately 8 minutes on each passage before moving on to the next one.
- Do NOT spend more than 10 minutes on a passage.
- READ the passages, out of order (according to your personal preference). Pace yourself.
- Answer EVERY question. Do NOT leave a question blank.
- Use your last 5 minutes to go to the passage you LOD'd (used the letter of the day on) and answer the easy questions (the Detail Questions).
